    Work that matters materially

    Every line of code, every regulatory filing, every rulebook section touches real operator funds and real orbital rights. Nothing we ship is a demo.

    Seniority gets shipped, not managed

    We hire few people and we hire them senior. Individual contributors own end-to-end problem domains. Engineering managers code. Executives answer tickets.

    Documentation is first-class

    Design precedes code. ADRs before commits. Research notes before dependencies. The writing you do is the work, not overhead on the work.

    Remote-native, on purpose

    The team operates across New York, London, and Singapore. We coordinate in writing and meet in person quarterly. No Bay Area surcharge, no return-to-office policy.

    Boring regulation compounds

    We file on four tracks in parallel — FinCEN, SEC, CFTC, SEF/DCM. No novel interpretations, no crypto-native exotica. If you enjoy the unglamorous half of fintech, you will enjoy Wavestar.

    Early hires receive meaningful equity grants with transparent cap-table math. We publish strike prices, dilution expectations, and exit scenarios. Pay equity across roles and geographies.

What you are signing up for

Wavestar is a serious piece of infrastructure. If you join, you will be writing the rulebook that five regulators read. You will be shipping code that settles the first cleared ISAM trade. You will be on calls where operators and attorneys are weighing every word. This is uncommon work. It is also extraordinarily interesting work.
